Civil Engineer (E.I.T)

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or working towards degree is required. EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required.

Essential Job Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of basic engineering principles and techniques and be able to apply standards to practical problems

Ability to apply engineering principles and drafting skills to design engineering plans for project development

Perform standard computations or analysis in civil engineering projects

Ability to read and understand engineering designs and plans and ability to perform engineering calculations and evaluations

Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance practices and principles

Need to be able to:   Follow detailed instructions and execute tasks in a timely manner

                     Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

                      Meet multiple commitments with an attention to detail

                       Multitask with a focus on achieving timely and correct results

                       Work well with other team members, clients and vendors

Communicate professionally and effectively both verbal and written

Possess integrity and professionalism

Software Experience: Microsoft Office, Excel and Word; AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)

Must have a valid Drivers License
