ANDRITZ Recovery & Power Services is seeking a self-motivated, mechanical engineering intern to provide process engineering support for the Recovery, Power, and White Liquor Plant Product Groups within PKR NA. This internship is for May-August 2025. 

 

Education and Experience

To be successful, a candidate should possess:

  • Rising junior or senior students pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Pulp & Paper Technology 
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.  The ability to communicate effectively on various levels, verbally and in writing is essential
  • Must be able to work independently and within a group
  • Excellent capability with Microsoft Office
  • Strong command of the English language in both written and verbal communication

 

Principal Duties

Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:

  • Support project team on active projects by working on layout reviews, 3D scanning, and other similar activities
  • Support sales teams on active proposals
  • Update product design drawings as required
  • Assist in R&D activities
