IT Support Co-Op Student Technician - Harbert College of Business
This IT Support position is within the Harbert College of Business ITS Service Desk. Students who are hired as ITS CoOp Student Technicians have the opportunity to be promoted to Lead Technician. This position is for a full-time student in the Auburn University Co-op program, a 3-semester alternating semester program. It is highly recommended that the candidate begin work with ITS as a student technician one semester before the first co-op rotation. The candidate can also remain on the service desk as a student worker during their academic semesters.
This candidate should have a strong work ethic, some technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask.
Expected Responsibilities:
- running daily tasks in the office
- managing the ticket system
- creating a morning post for all technicians that displays all tickets and functions for the workday
- managing other student workers alongside Lead Technicians
- working with full-time employees to coordinate technical projects
- scheduling tickets and events
