Engineering Co-op (BSEN, CIVL, CHEN, ELEC, INSY, MATL, MECH)

Summer & Fall 2025: BSEN, CIVL, CHEN, ELEC, INSY, MATL, MECH

Salary: $22.40

Housing: Depending on availability, Resolute Forest Products may provide, at no cost, temporary housing for Engineering Co-ops while working on site.

Job Title:   Engineering Co-op Student                                                                       

Supervisor's Title:     Process Engineer                            

Primary Purpose

Provide assistance to engineering and various mill groups to support production of high-quality fluff pulp. Assistance will be used to discover, develop, improve, analyze, problem solve and monitor process manufacturing and engineering methods and procedures with the objective of manufacturing fluff pulp which meets or exceeds customer specifications. Co-ops will be expected to engage with and support health, safety, environmental and quality strategies and end results.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Individuals will be expected to show or demonstrate performance in the following areas as applicable for their academic and experience level.

·        Work safely.

·        Apply knowledge of his/her academic discipline.

·        Design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data.

·        Design a system, component, or process to satisfy desired needs.

Knowledge and Experience 

·        Good standing with cooperative program requirements at academic institution.

·        Pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in one of the engineering disciplines.

·        Effective computer skills in Microsoft Office software.
