Project Engineering Summer Internship 2025
Litostroj US is hiring an intern to support the engineering team. This candidate would be expected to provide a broad range of support for all project functions (operations, engineering, sales, manufacturing and more). The candidate would need to be able to work with minimal direct oversight/direction after being trained in job duties/expectations. The summary of the positions roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Engineering:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of turbines to effectively communicate with the entire team.
- Review (comments, requirements, procedure, material) and revise drawings in AutoCAD to provide clear and effective assembly. instructions with our onsite team
- Produce new instruction procedures for technical activities.
- Create a comprehensive bill of material (BOM).
- Cost optimization of proposed design.
- Report project progress and results in a formal presentation to management.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Assist with onsite visits to local machine shops and job sites.
- Participating in supplier audits or evaluations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Engineering, mechanical preferred
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Legally able to work in the United States for any length of time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Attention to detail
- Ability to engage a cross-functional team
