The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Engineering Services team is hiring entry-level Civil Engineers to implement new Air Traffic Control systems and modernize aviation infrastructure within the world’s safest National Airspace System. This role focuses on construction projects at airports or within Air Route Traffic Control Center facilities, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to infrastructure improvements critical to aviation safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include quality control, construction oversight, cost-estimating, and tracking schedules on systems such as air-to-ground communications, radar, navigational aids, electrical power systems, HVAC, and buildings.

This position requires up to 95% on-site work, with travel to project locations across the Eastern United States and Caribbean. Transportation, meals, and lodging are fully compensated, and duty locations include Hampton, GA, Hilliard, FL, Leesburg, VA, Memphis, TN, Nashua, NH, and, Miami, FL.  

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, U.S. Citizenship, and a valid state driver’s license.
