Research Assistant in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics
Research Assistant position in a cancer research lab at Houston Methodist
Professor: Yulin Li MD, PhD
Department: Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center
Institution: Houston Methodist Research Institute
Openings: Are you passionate about cancer research and eager to make important discoveries? Dr. Yulin Li's lab at the Houston Methodist Research Institute is looking for a highly motivated research assistant (full-time or part-time, at least two years of commitment) to join our innovative team. The research assistant will function more like a graduate student than a technician.
Our lab is at the forefront of investigating the mechanisms and targeting of residual tumors following chemotherapy and targeted therapy. We've made significant contributions in understanding how driver oncogenes sustain the neoplastic state and in developing strategies to eliminate residual tumors. Our research is supported by prestigious organizations, including the NIH, CPRIT, and the American Cancer Society.
We are seeking dedicated seniors or recent graduates (B.A., B.S., M.A., M.S.) with a background in genetics, cell biology, and biochemistry. If you're planning to pursue a PhD or MD/PhD in the future and are eager to contribute to impactful cancer research, please send your CV to Dr. Li (yli@houstonmethodist.org) and stop by our lab.
