Procurement Intern (Summer)

We seek students who are passionate about what they do and are eager to learn more about career paths within our Procurement organization in the energy sector. Students with strong academic performance in core programs, leadership, and communication skills pursuing a Bachelor's with proficiency in relevant areas such as Supply Chain and global trading are encouraged to apply. 

What you will do

As a Procurement Intern, you will work in collaboration within one of our Commercial Procurement groups, which ranges from Low Carbon Solutions, Wells Services, Product Solution, Corporate, to name a few areas. By being assigned within one of these groups, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our Contract Managers & Category Managers, having exposure into their job roles and duties while also being assigned an impactful project to work during your assignment. 

Interns will have the opportunity to contribute in a variety of areas supporting Commercial Procurement. All projects are directly related to business needs and will include research as well as development of Commercial skills such as Contract Development, Commercial Relationship Management, Total System Cost, Negotiating & Influencing and Business Acumen. 

In addition to project work in your assigned area, you’ll have opportunities to tour our facilities, learn from senior leaders, and engage with a wide range of experienced professionals and other students.  A variety of social events both on and off site allow our interns and co-ops to engage further with their cohort, recent graduates, and other professionals and senior leaders across the organization.

Duration of our summer internships are typically 3 months. Successful interns may receive the opportunity to return for another intern or co-op assignment, or full-time employment.
