Procurement Commercial Full Time

We seek students with who are passionate about what they do and eager to join us in providing solutions to society’s energy needs.  Students with strong academic performance in core programs, leadership, and communication skills who have recently graduates, or have an upcoming graduation date, seeking full-time placement with a Bachelors in Supply Chain; however, open for applicants with the following degrees in engineering disciplines who are interested in a career within Procurement/Commercial, are encouraged to apply:

What you will do

Drive value creation, commercial intensity and competitive advantage through disciplined, persistent internal and external surveillance, development and execution of category strategies, design and execution of high-impact commercial actions, supplier relationship management and distribution of effective strategic, commercial, and contractual guidance. 

• Develop comprehensive category strategies aligned with the business and functional stakeholder’s objectives and market conditions; drive execution for value realization
• Conduct business, category and market surveillance – analyze and synthesize to inform strategies and commercial guidance, identify best practices, and promote innovation
• Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, business, value chain and/or operational efficiencies leveraging total cost of ownership discipline as well as commercial intelligence including should cost models, benchmarking, and market indexes
• Analyze business and functional stakeholders needs and market trends
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key/strategic suppliers fostering open communication and collaboration – leverage and support supplier relationship management (SRM) framework to mitigate risk, improve performance and unlock value
• Identify, achieve, and report on value, sustainability, and supplier diversity objectives
• Actively contribute to developing and building commercial and sourcing skill

Establish and directly negotiate and/or support negotiations of agreements with advantaged terms, best in class compensation, and strong supply security features. 

Building skills within your Procurement Commercial group across Negotiations, Contracting, Total Cost Analysis, Commercial Relationships and Business Acumen.
