Our internship programs provide an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience that you just can’t get in the classroom providing you with a realistic job preview, and the ability to evaluate Solenis as a potential employer.
For our Technical Sales Internships, we seek students pursuing engineering or technical degrees who enjoy working a variety of people. These roles are an intersection of applied technical knowledge, project management, communication and business.
Our interns will be assigned to work on a specific customer project with tangible deliverables, operating as a member of our team. You also will be paired with a Solenis mentor who will provide guidance and feedback during the duration of your internship. Virtual learning sessions will be provided as part of your internship and will cover relevant topics such as presentation skills and personal branding. Additionally, you will have access to a plethora of learning resources for on-the-job technical expertise and chemical acumen. At the conclusion of your internship, selected interns will have the opportunity to meet with senior leaders from Solenis at our Intern Symposium to review your project and the results you achieved.

We are seeking students who:

· Are working towards a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pulp & Paper, Chemistry, Biology or other relevant STEM majors
· Prior experience with pulp and paper OR water treatment industry is beneficial
· Due to the remote nature of some customer and the possibility of calling on multiple customer sies, candidates should have access to a reliable car they can use during their internship
· Must be authorized to work in the United States
Typical projects may include:
· Planning and execution of new applications through trials, data collection, and evaluations.
· Providing service and technical support for our global customers.
· Troubleshooting and problem solving for our customers, while working with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and grow business through new sales relationships.
