These meetings will allow Auburn students the opportunity to interact with Geosyntec practitioners and to learn more about full-time and internship opportunities with the firm throughout the United States. Note that this posting is only open to current Auburn students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fieldwork such as soil, surface water and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, construction site inspections, and remediation treatment system operation and maintenance;
- Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting;
- Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and
- Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
Education and Licensure
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in a relevant engineering discipline (environmental, civil, chemical or related). (required)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, if applicable. (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Experience working in challenging outdoor environments. (preferred)
- Prior research experience in civil, environmental, or water resources engineering or a related field. (preferred)
- Prior internship or work experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
- Experience with engineering and analytical software and programming languages such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, VBA, R, or Python. (preferred)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required).
