The Duracell Process & Engineering Organization develops and delivers technologies to improve our products around the world. As an intern, you will experience hands-on work on projects that expose you to real-world problems and new technologies in challenging situations. You will collect & analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and potentially design processes or equipment to address those opportunities, and you will be expected to find new ways to innovate and develop within your area.
• Process/R&D interns may work in Product, Process, Material, or Packaging Development, Modeling & Simulation, or Data Science
• Engineering interns may work in Equipment or Process Development, Machine Controls, Information Systems, Process Improvement, or Data Science
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Able to apply math, statistics, science, and other technical knowledge to solve real world problems and develop robust solutions.
• Manages time effectively by understanding assignment requirements, prioritizing objectives, and scheduling tasks accordingly.
• Shows personal initiative and drives for results to ensure deliverables meet cost and schedule requirements.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a degree in one of the following:
- Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry for Process/R&D opportunities
- Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science for Engineering/Manufacturing opportunities
- This role requires interactions with many different types of teams and resources. An ability and desire to deliver both as an individual and in a team environment is a must.
