Entry-Level Civil Engineer
Fulmer Lucas Engineering is seeking a full-time entry-level Civil Engineer based in our Nashville office.
Founded as Fulmer Engineering in 2014, Fulmer Lucas leverages its industry-leading expertise to provide a full spectrum of Civil Engineering services. Since its formation, the firm has experienced steady and deliberate growth in staff, services provided, and geographic reach. Through this growth, Fulmer Lucas remains steadfast in its commitment to relationships with members of our team, our client partners, and stakeholders in the communities we serve.
This position would be responsible for assisting and co-leading site civil engineering projects, client coordination, and various design tasks on a variety of mixed-use, multifamily, commercial, and industrial projects within the greater Nashville area.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external (architects, landscape architects, etc.) teams to achieve project goals
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to design and create construction drawings
- Collaborate with state, local, and federal jurisdictions for permitting purposes
- Analyze survey data
- Additional related duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- E.I.T. certificate preferred, or willing to take E.I.T. exam within the first year of employment
- Willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D and other computer-based design programs
