Mechanical Engineering Internship

This internship will be hosted for the Summer 2024 semester. 
Estimated dates: May through August 2024


Description of Responsibilities 

  • Upload Solidworks Drawings to Omnify
  • Verify Bill of Materials and upload to Omnify
  • Creation of parts, assemblies and detailed drawings
  • Support design engineers with testing and certification of new product



Qualifications and Experience Requirements 

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Understanding of Solidworks (CAD) and if not a Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) the ability to acquire it in a reasonable amount of time
  • Use of Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, Etc.)
  • Troubleshooting and logical thinking
  • Ability to meet agreed upon schedules and commitments
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing timelines or project requirements
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn about various aspects of engineering
