SU 2023 Expo Full Time Job (BSCI, BSCM,CIVL)

Project Engineer
Responsibilities
• Review and understand contract documents
• Maintain on site presence and assist field team tracking and communication issues
• Assist with field safety documentation
• Assist with field erosion control documentation
• Maintain project logs (material tracking, lead time tracking, purchasing schedule)
• Assist project manager with solicitation and buyout process
• Assist with required document control
• Review submittals and maintain the submittal log
• Coordinate and maintain the RFI log
• Assist in the development of meeting agendas
• Maintain meeting minutes and distribute minutes
• Assist project manager with invoice back up and approval process
• Assist project manager with schedule update process
• Understand, utilize, and maintain data entered in project management software
• Assist project manager with closeout documentation
• Assist project manager with punch list documentation
• Complete other items assigned by project management to facilitate project success

Basic requirements
• BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Related Field (Optional)
• OSHA 10
• First Aid/CPR

• Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, sit, talk, and hear (bells, 
whistles, etc.), stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction 
work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather and risk of electric shock. The noise level in the work 
environment is usually moderate to very loud.

Field Engineer
Responsibilities
• Assist with safety documentation and safety inspections
• Provide maintenance of in place safety installations as needed
• Assist with managing the general requirements of the project on site
• Place company material, equipment and service orders as requested for the site
• Maintain requested field logs for use by the field supervision and project management 
team
• Review project logs and contract documents essential to performing assigned tasks
• Assist with staging of materials and general site organization
• Assist with building and site security measures
• Assist with updating drawing log, as built and record set of documents
• Assist with layout confirmation
• Assist with providing and maintaining site documentation on site as requested (daily logs, site 
records, pics, manpower, material usage, regulatory records, field tickets, etc.)
• Assist with QAQC documentation on site
• Assist with field verification of project quality standards as requested
• Assist with pre-installation meetings
• Provide daily and periodic installation observations, inspections, and documentation of work in 
place as requested
• Assist with maintenance all requirements for company branding on site
• Assist with clean up requirements and clean up documentation on site
• Assist with maintaining company purchased or leased tools and equipment on site
• Ensure field office and storage facilities are clean and organized
• Verify completion of work in place as requested
• Assist with managing company rules and policies on site
• Understand, utilize, and maintain data entered in project management software
• Assist with punch list completion, managing attic stock, owner training, commissioning, and 
project turnover requirements
• Assist with training and development of interns on site
• Complete other items assigned by assistant superintendent to facilitate project success

Basic requirements
• BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Related Field
• 1+ Years’ Experience or Internship/Co-op
• OSHA 10
• NPDES Level 1A Blue Card Certification
• First Aid/CPR
