Civil Engineer I
Job description
LineWorks Engineering -- one of Tampa Bay Business Journal's 2022 Best Places to Work -- is seeking a Civil Engineer to support our growing Transmission team in Tampa, Florida. The candidate will work under the guidance and oversight of Project Engineers as a part of LineWorks’ power delivery team, designing overhead transmission line structures and foundations. This is an entry-level position and proper training will be provided upon start of employment.
Requirements:
-Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from and ABET-accredited program
- Knowledge of structural design
- Knowledge of foundation design
- Knowledge of industry standard design codes
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite
- Excellent command of English language
- Valid drivers license
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check
