By working alongside industry experts within technology and operations, you will develop a strong technical knowledge-base and contribute to meaningful projects that provide a real-world view.
 
Our program provides participants the opportunity to build strong practical experience in engineering, create networks, manage projects, and assume increasing levels of responsibility to prepare participants for successful careers within ATI. A practical understanding of the difference between the academic and industrial environments will better prepare you for life after graduation, and either ATI’s Early Career Leadership Program or a direct hire within one of our Business Units.
 
Where Can I Go?
ATI hires technical talent in two ways. The first is direct-hiring for positions can be available throughout our Technology divisions, which are tied to our Technology Ladder and provides employees at every location opportunity for career advancement through technical achievement and technical leadership. The second way is through our Early Career Leadership
 
Program, which is a five-year program designed to accelerate participants' professional development through a variety of business-critical assignments and development opportunities. Either path at ATI offers opportunities for technical leadership and collaboration, which helps shape the future of ATI. This internship is a great way to experience ATI and begin to understand which role is right for you.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Rising Senior or Rising Junior Currently Enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program pursuing a Major in Materials Science or Materials Engineering
  • Or Currently Enrolled in a Masters or PhD Program pursuing a degree in Materials Science or Materials Engineering
  • Must be able to work full time during Summer 2023
