Musco Sports Lighting is currently seeking Sales Interns in Oskaloosa, IA for the Summer of 2023. 
A few details about this role:
  • This is a paid internship program. Wages will be determined based upon previous experience and academic standing (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate Student)
  • Students should be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 am-5 pm with the flexibility to work occasional evenings, Saturdays, and special events. Overnight travel may also be required.

Summary of Position
This position will work under the direction of the Director of USA Field Sales, Regional Sales Manager and the Sales Associate Supervisor, and will be responsible for researching, learning, developing, implementing, and applying key sales functions and solutions within the marketplace.
Sales interns will assist the field sales teams and will be provided multiple opportunities to showcase their ability to initiate, create and manage special projects.
Additionally, Sales Interns will work across multiple levels of the organization from company executives to key individual contributors while working in a cooperative, team-oriented atmosphere.
Other Duties You Will Perform… 
  • Travel with RSA’s or sales reps on actual sales calls
  • Works effectively with the Director of USA Field Sales, Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Associate Supervisor to assist in Musco sales functions
  • Works alongside Regional Sales Associates to gain a greater understanding of the marketplace for Musco Solutions
  • Cooperates and assists in developing a game plan to complete lighting audits and key market research. Other special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in customer tours of Musco Facilities
 Desired Qualifications 
  • Must possess sophomore collegiate standing (30 credit hours, upon the start of the internship) while pursuing a degree in a related field.
  • Must be able to travel as needed and work hours of position as required (Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm with flexibility for evenings).
