Air and Missile Defense Analyst / Engineer

Job Description:


Aviation and Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is seeking a talented Performance Analyst / Engineer to join a well-established and growing team supporting the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. This team analyzes system performance across a wide range of areas and technologies related to Air and Missile Defense (AMD).

Common tasks for this position include leveraging AMD high-fidelity digital simulations to analyze and solve complex real-world problems in AMD systems. This includes developing analysis tools, scenarios, and performing complex and detailed systems analyses. The candidate will investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, brief customers on the results, and develop/propose creative solutions to challenging problems.

Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science from an accredited institution; Master’s or Ph.D. degree desired
  • 2+ years of experience with AMD or system-level data analysis
  • Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, data processing, and system engineering
  • Proficient in analysis using the python programming language
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Desired experience:

  • Experience with the Jupyter (ipython), pandas, numpy, and matplotlib Python libraries
  • Experience with IFMC Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS)
  • Experience with the PATRIOT weapons system
  • Experience with the Java and C++ programming language

Required:
Candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance.
Candidate must be a US Only citizen.
