The HRIS Manager will lead the initiative in developing and maintaining integrity and reliability of our HR and payroll related systems. Working with key department heads, the HRIS Manager will strive to understand, transform, and develop our HR systems to ensure they meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As the HRIS Manager, you will maintain integrity and reliability with the organization’s programs that are used to sustain business operations. You will lead department heads and executive leadership in the development of the HRIS and suggest improvements with other systems to support business operations.
  • Manage the configuration, implementation and process improvement of the suite HRIS. Current active systems include but not limited to; Cornerstone OnDemand, ADP, talentReef, and Asureforce timekeeping.
  • Interpret business needs into proposed options for development.
  • Creates, oversees and maintains system and procedure documentation, internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, integrity, and security.
  • Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Conduct and contribute to post-implementation reviews and identify lessons learned.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology and ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Develop contingency plans and remove obstacles that may negatively impact the project.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans. Strategize and test with department leaders to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of recovery plans. Adjust as needed.
  • Develop and champion HRIS roadmap to meet the business needs. Build business cases in conjunction with SMEs to support business goals.
  • Communicate HRIS roadmap, opportunities, and goals to executive leadership.
  • Maintains an effective and positive relationship with department leaders, external vendors, and other stakeholders for project design and implementation.
  • Partner with IT and project management stakeholders on a regular cadence to provide regular updates on roadmap, system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Adhere to, and ensure the team adheres to strict security protocols around user data.
  • Oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS systems, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Perform regular assessments and recommend improvements to HRIS.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for managers and executives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
YOUR MUST HAVES:
  • 5 – 8 years of overall progressive work experience in related field required
  • 5+ years Project Management Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience partnering with external vendors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
