This is an entry-level role designed to learn the application and technology by handling escalated support issues and bug fixes. The goal of a successful individual in this role is to transition to software engineer within 1-2 years.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle in a highly-regulated environment
- Handle escalated supported issues
- Liaison between application support team and software development team
- Perform minor bug fixes
- Learn application and coding techniques to advance into software engineer role
ABOUT YOU
- BS in computer science, Informatics or a related degree, or certification from a coding bootcamp or equivalent work experience
- Experience with OOP and client-server model
- Experience with Java/Kotlin
- Experience with Javascript/Typescript and Javascript frameworks (prefer Vue or React)
- Prefer experience with databases and writing SQL
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Excellent technical communication
