Human Rights Officer (HUM00004R)

The OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe is seeking a Human Rights Officer (HUM00004R), a senior professional with a degree in a relevant field, and 6+ years of progressively responsible professional experience. The position requires: international work experience and ability to produce reports on human rights issues; work experience in field missions, preferably in Central Asia or South Caucasus; command of the project management cycle from project development through monitoring and evaluation; flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited time frames; professional fluency in English with excellent communication (both oral and written) skills; demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities; ability and willingness to work as a member of team, with people of different cultures, religions, and political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity. Desirable: knowledge of regional political, economic, legal and human rights developments; diplomatic and negotiating skills; working level of Russian and/or Tajik/Persian language. The OSCE is committed to diversity and inclusion within its workforce.
