Position Overview
Under general direction, practices family medicine and clinically directs a caseload on an inpatient pavilion. Verifies treatment of individuals meets standards of care. Evaluates assigned cases at Intake, signs certificates of admission.
 
Physician Specialist Option 85- Job Responsibilities
1. Serves as a family medicine physician serving patients living on an assigned pavilion and clinically directs a caseload on an inpatient pavilion.
 
2. Provides clinical direction to staff involved in direct core. Recommends treatment for the more difficult clinical cases. Advises professional nursing staff regarding medical treatment procedures. Provides orientation regarding issues to multi-disciplinary staff.
 
3. Provides back-up coverage of other pavilions and assessments at Intake.
 
4. Serves as a member of the medical committees, pavilion and program meetings, case evaluation, audit and utilization review committee to provide expertise in the areas of treatment, development, etc.
 
5. Attends and participates in all mandatory training.
 
6. Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above .

Physician Specialist Option 85- Minimum Qualifications
1. Requires a current Illinois License to practice medicine and American Board Certification in family medicine.

Physician Specialist Option 85- Conditions of Employment
1. Requires the ability to meet all agency vaccine/health-related Policies and guidance.
2. Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check.
3. Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois law. 

Physician Specialist Option 86- Position Overview
Under general direction, practices internal medicine and clinically directs a caseload on an inpatient pavilion. Verifies treatment of individuals meets standards of care. Evaluates assigned cases at Intake, signs certificates of admission.

1. Serves as an internal medicine physician serving patients living on an assigned pavilion and clinically directs a caseload on an inpatient pavilion.
