Marketing & Communications Associate

Position: Marketing and Communications Associate
Classification: Exempt
Hours per week: 40+
Work Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm, some nights and weekends.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years in marketing and/or communications work preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of and experience with relevant technology and applications (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, social media management tools tools, Office 365, WordPress, MailChimp, etc.)
  • Experience working with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Proven creativity and artistic eye portrayed through comprehensive portfolio of curated content
  • Proven experience with photography and videography in different scenarios
  • Solid biblical and theological foundation and understanding
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Communications Associate will design and create original content through photography, videography, copy writing, and website development to tell Brook Hill’s story.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategically communicate with students, families, and community by creating content for social media, enrollment initiatives, fundraising campaigns, website, and school communications.
  • Concept and create original media content for The Brook Hill School consistent with school brand, Christian mission, vision, for use in various media.
  • Assist in promoting new initiatives through compelling visual media.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work required as it relates to the duties described
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of School or a designee of the Head of School

Physical Requirements:
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard

  • Bending at the waist, kneeling, squatting, or crouching to file materials
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
