Business Analyst

Credigy has an immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Application Development team at our global headquarters in Norcross, GA.
Credigy is a consumer finance investment company with flexibility across the capital structure to acquire or finance all segments of the consumer receivables market. We directly manage consumer assets across multiple asset classes. We are the partner of choice when consumer finance institutions face complex challenges and strategic changes.
Our Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for interviewing and eliciting requirements from business stakeholders and writing functional specifications used by our software developers. The BSA is responsible for understanding each business unit’s operating processes and will be responsible for recommending technical solutions based on these needs, as well as conforming to industry best practices. This role requires someone who is very detailed oriented and is comfortable challenging users to ensure that the requested functionality will satisfy their long-term needs. The BSA will also perform the role of IT point of contact for the project and should be capable of managing small projects through deployment.

Responsibilities:
· Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, and business process analysis.
· Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the true underlying needs.
· Proactively communicate and collaborate with business partners to analyze needs and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Business Scenarios, Business Process flow, and functional/non-functional requirements
· Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
· Serves as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow.
· Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
· Evaluate new project and enhancement requests from business partners to determine high-level solution and system impacts.

Job Requirements
· Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Information Technology degree or equivalent expertise and industry experience.
· 0 -2 years of experience
· Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methods
· Strong facilitation skills required, including setting expectations, controlling and managing to the agenda, managing audience participation, and resolving conflicts.
· Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements.
· Self-starter who can work effectively independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment
· Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, managing customer expectations and priorities.
· Strong organizational skills are a must
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
