Administrative Assistant - Outpatient Services

*Providing Administrative Support to a variety of leaders at our Rehabilitation Center in accordance with LifeScape's Mission and Core Values*

If that describes you, the Admin Assistant in Outpatient Services at LifeScape does not sit at a front desk greeting people and answering phone calls. Although that is a very important task of all companies / organizations, this assistant’s position is more of an ‘on the run’ type career that has several fun, yet complex tasks to do all day long – making the day go by fast, yes leaving you feeling complete and accomplished at the end of the day! Here are some (but not all) of the responsibilities that the Administrative Assistant for Outpatient Services will be trained to take on:
· Maintaining strict confidentiality
· Assisting as primary Therapy (record keeping software program) administrator for staff and parents
· Using efficient organization and time management skills to manage daily office procedures that includes tasks like:    
o  Ordering supplies
o  Submitting Maintenance requests
o  Completing Travel requisitions
o  Completing monthly reports
o  Generating and distributing documents
o  Delivering mail
o  Making copies
o  Recording minutes
o  Managing Residential Petty Cash
o  Scheduling meetings
o  Assisting in preparation of materials for meetings
o  Identifying work priorities
o  Organizing work
o  Maintaining administrative files
o  Updating, filing, and retrieving materials

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A High School Diploma/GED is required. Additional post-secondary training is preferred. One to two years’ experience in administrative support is preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental/acquired disabilities or chronic health condition is preferred.
