As a Food Safety Auditor for our retail clients, you play a crucial role in the mission of NSF International – to protect and improve human health. You will have the opportunity to travel, meet new people and learn more about many of the businesses you may frequent as a consumer. You’ll inform and educate restaurant, bar, and grocery store owners about specific standards while continuing to learn more about those industries and grow your skills
**Seeking Part-Time ( flexible 10-30 hours a week) Auditors located in Richmond (VA), Minneapolis, Boise (ID), Los Angeles, Fresno/Bakersfield (CA), San Jose (CA), Oakland (CA),Louisville (KY), and Pittsburgh (PA)**
Key Job Responsibilities
- Perform 2nd party audits for retail clients
- Manages own work plans for the completion of audits within a determined timeframe, including schedule and workload
- Summarize audit findings
- Communicates effectively with clients, and account manager
Requirements
- Verbal and written communication, analysis, and problem-solving
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- One year minimum of food safety/auditing or related experience
- ServSafe certification
- Certified CP-FS (Certified Professional Food Safety) or capable to obtain
- Willing to travel up to 100+ miles from local areaRichmond (VA), Minneapolis, Boise (ID), Los Angeles, Fresno/Bakersfield (CA), San Jose (CA), Oakland (CA),Louisville (KY), and Pittsburgh (PA).
- Ability to work 10-30 hours weekly
Preferred requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a science-based field
- Food safety audit experience
- Certified CP-FS (Certified Professional Food Safety) or capable to obtain
