Multimedia Developer

Overview

i3 is seeking a Multimedia Developer to serve as a Graphic Artist / Marketing Coordinator for our Corporate Growth Team. As part of the Corporate Growth Team, this candidate will assist with the creation and management of marketing plans, including advertising, public relations, proposal graphic design/development, and tradeshows. This position is located in Huntsville, AL at the i3 Corporate Office. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide graphic support for proposals, marketing events/activities, and symposium/conference events
  • Utilize commercial software to develop computer-generated graphics, charts, and tables
  • Creates, edits, and posts audio and video content to be used internally, at events, on websites, and on social media
  • Optimizes the quality and usability of documentation/presentations using graphics and other formatting/style enhancements
  • Develops engaging digital content in the form of promotional videos, product photography, presentations, and other multimedia applications that are consistent with the i3 brand and priorities
  • Maintains an inventory and directory of i3 marketing support materials and ensures all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed
  • Simplifies complex data into a user-friendly format using graphs, charts, and other visual aids
  • Oversees all website content, ensuring it aligns with our brand, growth strategy, and significant company events
  • Responsible for company registrations (sponsor, exhibitor, attendee) for all approved tradeshows/conferences/symposiums
  • Responsible for coordination with third-party for i3 booth logistics
  • Assists with verifying the accuracy of technical documentation to ensure that it is complete, meets editorial and required specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, content format, and style format

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design | Communications | Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or other post-production software
  • Knowledge of digital and physical publishing, relevant equipment and software, and principles of design
  • Ability to plan visual products and services that interpret subject matter content
  • Experience with Word Press, and Adobe AfterEffects is desired
  • Ability to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions, and then use own knowledge, ingenuity, innovation, and experience to complete the product
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent proofreader with careful attention to detail
Desired:
  • Strong social media experience
  • Understanding of web development best practices
  • Layout and design background, especially experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with event management publicity and logistical tasks
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving attributes and research proficiencies
  • Understands and can work across different departments, requiring emotional intelligence, self-organization, and time management skills
