The minimum base salary for this position is $55,000, plus annual bonus and the maximum is $74,899. Salary may vary based on education, knowledge and experience.
Job Description:
The successful candidate in this position will:
- Help design and build applications and interfaces and additionally test, debug, and make modifications to existing applications
- Be responsible for development of features in websites using Angular.js. Candidate should have mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to engineer front-end components. Knowledge of Microsoft Web Forms and MVC is a plus.
- Be familiar with C# and .NET development, in particular MVC and API frameworks. Knowledge of Python or R is a plus as well.
- Create a wireframe based on project requirements and lead customer feedback sessions.
- Test and review system designs.
- Automate code quality with unit tests and end-to-end UI tests
- Play a direct role in the development, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the web or internet applications.
- Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, REST, asynchronous logic)
- Visual design experience and the ability to create visually appealing interfaces
- Creation of detailed user and technical documentation for new and existing applications and create a scope of work based on project requirements
- Work with a team of existing developers to expand our current custom applications.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Provide training and support for the custom made applications.
- Strengthen the security of our internal applications

Requirements:
The Developer we are seeking has a great opportunity to help WEST take the next step in our growth as a premier environmental consulting firm. Successful candidate must be a self-starter who possesses:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical school or experience.
- 3+ years’ experience working in a professional development setting with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to work well under time constraints and within an established budget
