Front End Developer - (851)

Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. (WEST), a dynamic medium size consulting firm with offices across the United States, is looking for a full-time, experienced Front End Developer in our Cheyenne, WY Laramie, WY, Fort Collins, CO, Albuquerque, NM office. The minimum base salary for this position is $55,000, plus annual bonus and the maximum is $74,899. Salary may vary based on education, knowledge and experience.
 
Job Description:
The successful candidate in this position will:
  • Help design and build applications and interfaces and additionally test, debug, and make modifications to existing applications
  • Be responsible for development of features in websites using Angular.js. Candidate should have mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to engineer front-end components. Knowledge of Microsoft Web Forms and MVC is a plus.
  • Be familiar with C# and .NET development, in particular MVC and API frameworks. Knowledge of Python or R is a plus as well.
  • Create a wireframe based on project requirements and lead customer feedback sessions.
  • Test and review system designs.
  • Automate code quality with unit tests and end-to-end UI tests
  • Play a direct role in the development, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the web or internet applications.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, REST, asynchronous logic)
  • Visual design experience and the ability to create visually appealing interfaces
  • Creation of detailed user and technical documentation for new and existing applications and create a scope of work based on project requirements
  • Work with a team of existing developers to expand our current custom applications.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Provide training and support for the custom made applications.    
  • Strengthen the security of our internal applications

Requirements:
The Developer we are seeking has a great opportunity to help WEST take the next step in our growth as a premier environmental consulting firm. Successful candidate must be a self-starter who possesses:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical school or experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a professional development setting with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under time constraints and within an established budget
