Interfaith Climate Action Coalition Program Assistant - New Orleans YAV Program
The Greater New Orleans Interfaith Climate Coalition acts as a catalyst to educate, empower, engage, and equip faith leaders and communities to meet our moral, ethical, and spiritual responsibility to establish climate justice and promote care of the Earth, and all that dwell here, through a faith and reason perspective for a healthy world. The Program Assistant Position will 1) track Louisiana State Legislation for environmental policies, 2) increase the GNOICC presence at community and church events as well as on social media, 3) coordinate events, communications, calendars, and website with the Steering Committee, 4) participate in leading and collaborating with other youth environmental organizations/organizers. The position is supported by the Presbytery of South Louisiana in the YAV Program - an intentional faith community in New Orleans.
