Assistant Professor of History/Social Sciences, tenure track

Montana State University seeks to fill Assistant Professor of History/Social Sciences, tenure track position. Faculty would begin on campus in person instruction for Fall 2022.

The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses in history, political science, and sociology to support general education, Liberal Studies, and the Secondary Education Broadfield Social Science major; advise students effectively; continue the pursuit of scholarly achievement; provide service to the institution and regional communities; and participate as a cooperative team member for MSU-Northern.

We are seeking an innovative faculty member who is eager to participate in curricular and programmatic development. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to building a diverse community through their teaching, scholarship and service.
