Basketball Commentator

The Commentator will be responsible for recording play-by-play, color commentary and public address announcements. This person will accuracy and excitement to pre-recorded video to engage the viewing audience. Commentators help maximize customer retention by providing excellent customer service and accurate work execution in a timely manner.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Experience:
- Responds to and solve customer problems and complaints expeditiously
- Provide services that are above and beyond customer satisfaction for retention
- Potential commentators should be professional at all times
- Be a brand champion for 1891
- Ability to demonstrate passion and commitment for the 1891 service philosophy
- Ensure that the intent of the brand is pulled through in customer experience
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating exceptional work ethic and service delivery for all Customers
- Champions change; inspires and motivates team to achieve operational excellence
Skills + Job Requirements
- Knowledge of the sport, the teams that are playing, and their players.
- The ability to quickly summarize what's happening during the game.
- The ability to offer commentary on the game.
- The ability to banter with your on-air colleagues.
- Knowledge of how the particular form of broadcasting works.
- Ability to quickly provide high-quality recorded commentary
Equipment Requirements:
- Microphone and all necessary equipment to record commentary
- Computer and relevant programs
Work & Pay Rate Process :
1st come, 1st serve work reservation (just like Uber or Lyft). The more games you work, the more you earn. Pay Rate is per game. *
Commentator Requirements:
Recorded sample of work
1 year commentating (Preferred)
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
