Position Summary
Notora is seeking a RF Engineer I to plan and carry out engineering services requested by Notora’s customers. These services include benchmark and continuous wave testing, RF Engineering design, commissioning, testing, optimization, and consulting services.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Communicate with the sales team and end customers to determine project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
· Plan and carry out engineering services necessary to complete each project’s scope of work.
o Operate RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers and RF scanners to evaluate RF statistics and performance.
o Design DAS and Small Cell networks using industry standard software.
§ iBwave, Atoll, Ekhau, etc.
o Apply in office design work and field-testing duties to commercial and public safety projects based on industry technology fundamentals.
§ LTE, 5G NR, P25 and legacy GSM/CDMA/WCDMA technologies
· Meet customer deadlines with all project deliverables.
· Manage project costs, including travel costs, to come in under budget on each project.
· Develop ideas for new engineering services, company efficiencies, and process improvement.
· Attend company meetings and functions as requested by management.
· Monitor and report on project statuses to the sales team and management on a regular basis.

· Must have good technical writing skills.
· Must have sound engineering logic and proficiencies in RF and telecommunications theory.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and listen. The employee may be required to walk long distances, climb ladder/stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may drive for extended periods of time. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Wireless or Electrical engineering; similar engineering discipline such as Software or Mechanical engineering and Computer Science considered as well.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Typical days of work are Monday through Friday. Some evenings and weekend work required based on customer/project needs.
Travel
· Travel to customer locations to present Notora services as required.
· Up to 25% to 50% travel required
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
