LOCATION

This position is for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District located in Nashville, TN.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Nashville District Engineering and Construction Division, Hydraulics and Hydrology Branch is recruiting for a full-time, permanent, Civil (Hydraulics) Engineer.

Duties performed in this position are developmental for advancement to the next higher level. The incumbent will perform hydraulic and hydrologic investigations, analyses, and studies for navigation, flood control, and multi-purpose dams. You will participate in the design elements for local protection projects, participate in field parties to conduct studies, and review permit applications from the water resources standpoint.

BS Degrees will start out at the GS-5 or GS-7 pay scale
Graduate Degrees will start out at the GS-9 pay scale
Target Grade will be GS-11
