Civil Engineer/Field Engineer/Geotechnical Engineer, E.I.T | Foundation Systems Engineering

We are looking for a Civil engineer, E.I.T to add to our Knoxville and Johnson City, TN offices. The position will be primarily field oriented.

Primary duties will include performing QA/QC inspection and testing (soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, post-tensioning, fireproofing, etc.). Some travel may be required.

For this position the employee will be providing quality assurance/quality control testing and ICC special inspection duties for commercial, retail, educational, low to high-rise, manufacturing, etc. construction projects.

Successful candidates must perform on site observations/inspections to confirm compliance with the local building code and project contract documents per ASTM, ACI and other applicable standards, and maintain detail records of observations, inspections and test results.
