McCall is currently seeking one outstanding candidate to be our 2019 Summer – Business Development & Strategy Intern, based out of our Tallahassee, Florida office; so you get to live in Tallahassee and have a great job over the summer.

As the Business Development & Strategy Intern, you will not be completing meaningless tasks! Rather, you will be doing real live work with real live customers. Upon completion of our 1-week training program where you will be eating a dinner with our owners, meeting our Admin and Sales team leaders, and having some fun at our Corporate HQ in Jacksonville, Florida you will return to Tallahassee and hit the ground running. You will assist our leading Sales Manager in reaching out to leading organizations, corporate brands, and wonderful residents in our market area. You will be responsible for generating and closing sales with commercial and residential clients. In the event our Corporate Development team has an opportunity arise during your internship, you will assist with the evaluation of and negation of any mergers, acquisitions, or dispositions we become engaged in.

You will work with our General Counsel & Director of Business Development with strategic market opportunities by developing a proposed new service line that McCall should introduce in a specific service area or across all its service areas. You will identify the market opportunity, complete the research, develop the business plan and present it. If it passes the smell test, you may just get to see the company implement the new service; where else will you get to dive into the operations of a company and make an impact that could be implemented in the long term.
