Navy Cyber Warfare Development Group (NCWDG)
Our Mission Statement:
NCWDG serves as the Navy's Center for Cyber Warfare innovation. For over thirty years, NCWDG has conducted technical research and development to create, test and deliver advanced cyber, cryptologic and electronic warfare capabilities to the U.S. Navy using rapid prototyping and acquisition authority. As U.S. Fleet Cyber Command's lead for cyberspace operations innovation, NCWDG military and civilian personnel experiment with and test new cyberspace capabilities to meet the strategic and operational goals of Fleet and Combatant Commanders.
Who We Want:
NCWDG is seeking talented Software Developers to perform on the bleeding edge of Cyberspace research and development. Applicants must have a strong background in software development; cybersecurity experience is a plus.
Requirements:
The most successful applicants come from the following majors:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Cyberspace Operations/Defense
Additionally, we are looking for developers who have experience in the following:
- Programming in C, Python, or x86 Assembly required
- Experience in Cyberspace operations, penetration testing, vulnerability research, etc. is recommended.
Applications can be accepted from students who expect to complete qualifying education within 9 months from the date of application. All applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET with SCI Security Clearance.
