These annual regional and national programs are a unique and innovative offering designed specifically for college students who have completed their sophomore or junior year. |
| Qualifications | Get a First Look at Public Accounting - Gain insight into the public accounting profession - Attend presentations on topics including: * Day in the life of an Associate * Professionalism * Networking * The recruiting process Explore BDO - Interact with firm leadership and other client service professionals - Hear BDO professionals share their stories and offer advice - Get to know the BDO Campus Recruiters Meet New Faces and Experience New Places - Be one of an elite group of students chosen from across the nation for this prestigious opportunity - Network with peers from other top accounting programs - Participate in student/BDO professional social activities Requirements: In order to be eligible for consideration as a Pathway to Success attendee, students must be: - A current or expected accounting major and/or relevant field - Finished with sophomore or junior year as of June 2018 (1 – 2 years left towards bachelors/masters) - Personally and academically motivated - Continuously distinguished in the classroom, on campus and in the community - Available for travel to the local, regional or national programs - Prepare the following documents and submit with your application: * Cover letter addressing: - Why you are interested in a career in public accounting - What you hope to achieve by attending Pathway to Success * Current résumé * Unofficial transcript (PDF/Word document with screen prints acceptable) NOTE: Current, upcoming and past interns or associates are not eligible. |
