Together with our parent company General Dynamics, we invest in the future, dedicating resources to researching and developing innovative new aircraft, technologies, and services. We also invest in our people. You will be a part of our program called Collegiate Relations where you can network with your fellow peers. Many of our co-op students decide Gulfstream is the right place to continue their career as a full-time employee. When you join our team, you’ll rotate between academic and work semesters to apply what you’ve learned in a world-class organization. You could find yourself assisting with the development of the next generation of our industry-leading aircraft. 

Programs 

Materials Manufacturing Engineering - Support our internal and external customers through engineering designs for in-service aircraft. 

Co-op Program Requirements 

  • Students must be able to work 3-5 rotation semesters during their undergraduate program.
  • The number of rotations required is based on the interested student’s current level in school (sophomore/junior) and their graduation date.
  • Rotations cannot be back-to-back or skipped. 
  • Rotations for spring and fall are 16 weeks.  Rotations for summer are 12 weeks.
  • You must be enrolled in full-time college courses when not on a rotation at Gulfstream.
  • You will need to provide a copy of your unofficial transcript prior to each rotation.  A 3.0 cumulative GPA is required to start the program and must be maintained to remain in the program.
  • The completion of the Collegiate Co-op Program shall not be greater than 18 months prior to graduation.
  • You are expected to remain in the program through the completion of your degree and adhere to the rotation plan outlined in this offer letter.
  • Changes to the rotation plan schedule must be approved by Gulfstream Collegiate Relations. If a change is required to meet curriculum requirements, the co-op must provide a letter from their academic advisor documenting the need for the modification to their rotation schedule. Students may request one change to their rotation plan; however, such requests are not guaranteed to be approved. All requests must be reviewed and approved by Collegiate Relations and the organization in which the student is completing their co-op assignment.

Education and Experience Requirements

Position Purpose:

Other Requirements:

  1. Enrolled as a full-time student at time of application, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above.
  2. Complete freshman year before the start of first co-op rotation.
  3. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  4. Required to do 3-5 alternating co-op rotations.
  5. Minimum 12-week requirement (summer); 16-week requirement (spring and fall).
  6. Must have reliable transportation.

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
