Alternative Spring Break Participant - Auburn

Spring Break is coming!  Have you considered how you will spend your week off from school? Consider making a real difference in the world with a company that’s passionate about giving back. What you'll do

Over the course of this very inspiring and engaging week, you’ll work with schools and students from low-income areas who face the challenges of educational inequity. Whether you’re volunteering with elementary, middle or high school students; or at after school programs, childcare centers, or community outreach programs, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact.  Learn more about Deloitte’s Alternative Spring Break program.

 

Skills you'll build

Working alongside like-minded volunteers including Deloitte recruiters and professionals, you'll get an insider's view into the life of a professional services expert, gain valuable first-hand experience and hone your leadership skills. In five days, you’ll not only improve lives, but also develop new friendships and professional ties that can last a lifetime.

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor degree in a business, accounting, technology or related field (freshman, sophomore or junior standing)

  • Strong academic track record (minimum 3.3 GPA)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for enacting change in the community

 

Who you’ll meet

During the Maximum Impact, you’ll volunteer alongside diverse and talented professionals working within our US Firms and also have the opportunity to collaborate with other students, as well as leaders and members from our community partners.
