Customer Development Intern

Key Accountabilities, Intern, Customer Development 

• Learn McLeod software architecture, development tools, development standards, and Customer Development processes through structured training and hands on assignments.
• Complete well defined programming tasks, bug fixes, documentation updates, and testing activities under the guidance of a mentor or senior developer.
• Assist with customer support investigations by gathering information, reproducing reported issues, reviewing logs, and documenting findings.
• Develop and maintain progressively complex Java and TypeScript code changes under close supervision while following established coding standards and development practices.
• Test assigned changes and document results before submitting work for review.
• Learn source control, code review, release, and change management processes used by Customer Development.
• Communicate progress, questions, and obstacles to mentors, managers, and team members in a timely and professional manner.
• Accept coaching and incorporate feedback into future work to improve technical and professional skills.
• Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to continuous learning while contributing positively to the Customer Development team.
