Civil Engineering Intern

Civil Consultants, Inc. (CCI) is a Birmingham, Alabama based Civil Engineering and Planning firm specializing in site development and municipal projects. We provide civil engineering and site planning services locally as well as nationwide. Our experience is very diverse, ranging from projects within the Commercial, Retail, Residential and Institutional sectors to projects involving Government and Industrial facilities. Whether a project is large or small, we take pride in providing our clients with outstanding service and quality designs.  

CCI is a growing company and is currently seeking a summer intern for work on site development projects. Candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of plans, specifications, reports and permitting.

Responsibilities for this position include:

·        Assists in the preparation or modification of plans, specifications, permits, and designs for project

·        Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects 

·        Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents

·        Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed

·        Completes field work as needed

·        Performs other duties as requested
