Associate Test Engineering Technician Co-op

Join our test engineering team in Huntsville, AL in January 2026 as an Associate Test Engineering Technician. The ideal candidate will be a sophomore or junior majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, and willing to work a total of three full time semesters: alternating with full time school semesters. In this role you will be involved with the design and development of test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of electronics and other products and services. You will support test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluate the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications. applying test engineering principles to debug test hardware and software. 

What You Will Do

  • Supports and participates in technical activity and testing in a test engineering environment
  • Designs, develops, analyzes, documents, and supports testing of products, systems, or subsystems
  • May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments
  • Ability to work independently under supervision of others
  • Provides regular reporting of progress and status
  • Responsible for completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements
  • Reviews customer specifications and requirements, and under direction develops designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
  • Specifies and evaluates supplier components, subsystems, and services
  • Supports the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements
  • Develops prototypes to retire key development risks as directed
  • Communicates clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
  • May participate in preparation of less complex proposals

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Sophomore or Junior (in January 2026) majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and willing to work a total of three full time semesters: alternating with full time school semesters
  • 3.0 or higher GPA
