Intern Healthcare Consultant

Responsibilities:

As a high-growth, boutique consulting firm, Pathstone offers a unique opportunity for associates to play a significant role in supporting client engagements and practice development initiatives. Below is a list of representative responsibilities for each area: 

Client Engagements:

  • Support development of persuasive business cases and presentations to clients
  • Support execution of key engagement workstreams and initiatives
  • Conduct analysis of complex data sets to generate insights and opportunities
  • Support identification of strategies and recommendations to improve client’s performance
  • Support development and presentation of business cases and to team and clients
  • Support project management efforts for client engagements
  • Communicate and engage with client stakeholders

Firm Development:

  • Support market research of current and prospective clients
  • Support branding and marketing efforts to increase firm brand equity
  • Support development of intellectual property and knowledge repository
  • Support initiatives to improve internal process, client delivery, and methodology
  • Organize and / or participate in team building activities and events

Position Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
  • Strong team player and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks and projects
  • Self-motivator with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Align with firm mission and values
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Prior work / internship experience (healthcare and / or supply chain background is a plus)
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to Chicago, IL

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduation Date: Graduating in or before June 2027
  • School Year: Junior
  • Minimum GPA: 3.3
  • Work Authorization: US Work Authorization is required, but the employer is willing to sponsor candidates
  • Preferred Majors: Business, Economics, Supply Chain, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
