What I liked

The firm environment is excellent. Great people. Great work variety. As a summer intern, things were pretty slow at times but the staff did a great job of giving us interns a multitude of things to do.

What I wish was different

The firm cannot exactly help it but the primary knocks I have are to do with that it is like three different worlds depending on which floor you are on. Also, my own preference is to not work in Atlanta. It is just not for me. If they were not in Atlanta, I would have worked for them if they would let me.

Advice

Consider location strongly. I was mostly miserable outside of my job. Some people like this kind of location, but I already knew coming in that would be an issue. I was clear in my communication to staff about that being the reason I did not want a job with Rödl.

What I liked

Very helpful learning environment. The culture of the office made it special. I was given a lot of tasks to work on independently but had to option to work with my supervisor.

Advice

Talk to as many people as you can, they all have such a different background and you can learn so much. They are all willing to help and get to know you.
